Some time ago I wrote that I started to paint the picture as a gift for Veronica to celebrate the first Holy Communion. Four years earlier, Jesus also painted for her older sister. This was the first artwork in the children's fairy-tale style. This time I wanted to paint a picture that is not only to the nursery. I thought about this recital, "adolescent" with gifted person. So I combined the style icons of the beautiful ornaments the work of Gustav Klimt, which I have long been charmed. The figure of the young Jesus found on the Internet. At first I wanted to be a model was used to me my son. Knowing, however, my lack of derogation from the nature of the painted motifs, gave up the idea. It would be a bit weird if Veronica had prayed with the image of his younger cousin, who pretends to be the Infant Jesus), so I was glad the immensely when after a long search I found this picture from the turn of the century.

In the figure of Jesus nothing changed. I added the whole background for the figure, which in the original is (as evidenced by the above) empty space. Background jet symbolic and intended to proclaim the future Passion of Christ.

While on an extended holiday stay at home ground, I managed to still take part in the tuning of the Church on this beautiful day for a group of children. I helped my friend Kate F., which this year's design totally bewitched me. In particular by an excellent performance in its floral decoration. Do not look beautiful ...

I had to post an image for full size effect on her work and ideas. In the basement of a church during worship, where we moved his work, I found my old painting. I remember that I wanted to do them in a square 140 X140 sleeves to fit the chasuble. Unfortunately, over the entrance was not until enough space for such a high picture:)

Even still holds good, although a few survived the first serious storms of May and the following year when he hung on the facade of the church. I think that has already passed the well-deserved retirement he spent in the company of other decorations in the basement of the church.
